There are many ASP hosting providers that offer free ASP hosting plans. You need to be very careful when picking a free ASP hosting plan.
First of all, if the ASP website you want to host, is a business one, I strongly suggest you choose at least a Shared ASP Hosting plan, if not a dedicated one.
Here are the things you need to look over when choosing a free ASP hosting plan:
- Limited space - See how much space do you need for your application, and how much space they offer.
- Limited bandwidth - Check out if offered bandwidth is enough for your website
- Banner free? - Another issue with free hosting providers, is that they automatically place banners on your website. A website with banners is not a professional one.
- Email accounts - Do they offer email accounts? How many?
- Backups - Are they making daily backups? Because losing your files is the worst thing than can happen.
- Uptime - What is server's uptime?
- Database - Do you have access to any database? MSSQL? Access?
- Reviews - Search as many reviews as possible of the provider
